Don't be mistaken: this is a stool, nothing more. But it's an outstanding value, and there's nothing wrong with it that I can detect. It's advertised as a garage stool, though I use it as a guitarists stool while at band practice and it's the perfect height for that, and just comfortable enough to get me through a four hour session without getting a blister on my butt.
Other guitarists stools I was considering were $90 or $100... I don't doubt that they might be a bit nicer than this one, and probably say Gibson rather than John Deere, but for the price ($17!) this is an outstanding value. Keep in mind that this stool does NOT swivel, which might matter to some people; it doesn't bother me.

I bought 4 of these stools for an outside patio bar. They are great for the money, although one seam where all seams meet came apart already but the other 3 are just fine. I also love Amazons shipping I had them much sooner than expected!!!!!!!!!

I purchased this stool as a gift for my boyfriend.
Overall the stool is fine, but I was very disappointed that it does not spin.
The seat rests on the metal legs unlike any of the other garage stools I have seen - I would imagine over time the nice shiny stool cover will become worn just from sitting & normal maneuvering. I guess this is more of novelty item, versus a fully functional garage stool. Looks pretty.

simple stool at an easy price May 19, 2007

This is not the stool I wanted, but it is the stool I can afford now. You can easily pay more for the same level of quality. I had no difficulty assembling the stool, as all fasteners were included and all holes lined up correctly. The finish is good and I expect the stool to last for many years. All in all it is the bargain I expected it to be.
